  • Writing Competition!

    Fri 03 Feb 2017
BBC Radio 2 have launched their annual writing competition for children under 13 years of age. Falcon Class were involved in the Live lesson two weeks ago (see our Twitter page!) which was really exciting! The lesson can still be watched via the radio 2 website. We are encouraging all our children to enter and Mrs Letchford and Mrs Field are keen to see the stories which have been written. Please see the website for further information: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00rfvk1  A great way to spend a rainy day this weekend is to write a fantastic story! Good Luck!

  • Creative Curriculum

    Thu 02 Feb 2017
This afternoon has seen some really creative history and science lessons. Robin class have been in role as Ancient Egyptian slaves who have been summoned to build a pyramid for the Pharaoh. They've been thinking about how it would feel and learning about how they were made. Falcon class have been exploring their taste buds with blue dye on their tongues and using our fantastic new digital microscopes to examine them up close. They also created their own digestive systems to look at the journey of a sandwich through the human body- it was messy and hugely engaging! Look at our twitter account for some interesting photos!
