Crowdfunder Campaign

Coronavirus has impacted everyone and everything this year!  We rely heavily on being able to fundraise through face to face events that have all had to be cancelled this year as a result of COVID.  IN light of this, we would be extremely grateful for any donations to help us to continue to support the school, if you are in a position to do so.  You don't need to bake a cake, buy a ticket, donate a prize or even attend an event!  More details can be found here. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/friends-of-burghclere-school

Bags2School 14th December 2020

Thankfully Bags2School are now taking donations again and a collection has been arranged for the 14th December.

Bags will not be being handed out this year, so please leave your items in black bags, under the barn as usual on the morning of the 14th only. Please see here for what is accepted https://bag2school.com/what-we-collect.

Pantomime Trip

We're thrilled to be able to fund the tickets and subsidise the travel for all the children to be able to attend the panto at the Corn Exchange  on Friday 18th December.  We hope the children (and staff!) have a fabulous time!

Secret Shopping

We're delighted that the Secret Shopping event is still happening this year and you will have all seen an update on how safety will be maintained. Please don't forget to dig out donations and bring in to school on Monday 14th or Wednesday 16th December. If you haven't seen the letter that came out, message us for details.

Friends of Burghclere School (FOBS)

FOBS has been formed to take on the role of organising social events for parents and children and to raise funds for the school.

All parents are invited to join and are always welcomed enthusiastically at any events. The Friends meet several times a term and their meetings are very friendly and informal.

The Friends Association is very much part of school life, and plays an important role in our school community.

Over the past few years FOBS' fund-raising efforts have provided many items to enrich the education of our children, including a contribution to the Early Years outdoor learning area, Sports Kit for matches, other playground equipment, and new library and reading books.

The success of FOBS depends greatly on the support of the school community. We hope that as new parents join this community they will support events and make new friends at the same time.
