Governors' Register of Interests - 2022-23

The table below lists governors who have served on Burghclere Primary School’s Governing Body in the last twelve months.  Governors have a legal duty to act in the best interests of their school, and as such must declare any relevant business interests as well as the details of any other educational establishments they govern. The register must also set out any relationships between governors and members of the school's staff including spouses, partners and relatives. Where there are personal or financial interests which may conflict with this duty, we identify, prevent and record the conflict.  Generally, governors must not be involved in discussions or vote on matters to which a conflict relates.  All governors sign a ‘Declaration of Interests’ form at the start of the first full Governing Body meeting of each academic year and, at the beginning of meetings, are asked to declare if they have a potential conflict of interest with any agenda item.
