Welcome

Welcome to Burghclere Primary School!

We are a thriving rural primary school set in beautiful surroundings in the village of Burghclere in North Hampshire. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

The School dates from 1838 with most of the original buildings still in use. We are very privileged to have a school which mixes both Victorian buildings and modern facilities with a tradition of being at the heart of the community.

Situated in the main building are four modern classrooms, the library and a spacious Computing Suite. The School has a tarmac play area, an amazing creative outdoor area for EYFS children, a large playing field, areas of plantation and outdoor activity equipment, and a wonderful outdoor learning space with raised beds and a fire-pit . A large hall provides facilities for physical education (P.E.), assemblies, band practice and a dining hall. The attached kitchen servery provides a cooked lunch for the majority of children.

We believe in providing the highest standards of achievement and excellent education to develop thinking, collaborative, independent, creative and individual learners, within a safe, happy, caring and stimulating environment.  An environment that promotes learning and ‘growing’ together where both children and adults feel valued and show mutual tolerance and respect.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.

Thank you for visiting!
