Ava Lovelace Day

Falcon class completed some great home-learning on different women who have worked successfully in Science and Technology. Each group presented their learning in a variety of different ways to Mrs Humphreys, one of our Governors, and Mrs Letchford. The most successful presentation was chosen to be presented at the AWE STEM day today! The children had a great day looking at different science experiments and taking part in a wide range of science and technology activities. They presented their work on Grace Hopper to the judges and showed real confidence and understanding when answering their questions. Unfortunately we didn't win on this occasion but the team have reflected well on how they can further improve their presentations in the future!
