Friends of Burghclere School (FOBS)

Friends of Burghclere (FOBS) is a registered charity PTA formed of parents and carers working together for the benefit of Burghclere Primary School. We raise funds for the school through various events and activities to help improve the wellbeing and development of the children, whilst also trying to create a strong local community. 

Our current fundraising project is ‘The Daily Mile’ an all-weather outdoor mile long track around the school field, to help with the children’s mental health, along with improving concentration and providing a physical activity.

To support our fundraising projects FOBs have held summer fetes that the whole village have attended, given our school leavers fantastic send offs with hoodies and discos, made our parent & carers feel loved with Mother’s Day & Father’s Day presents, and also taken on big projects like buying new playground equipment.

Friends of Burghclere is made up of people invested in the school with the children at the heart of everything we do. We can only survive with the support and commitment from parents and carers so if you would like to join the team, please do speak to us.
