Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
We have a computer suite with 30 networked computers with central printers, all of which are connected to the Internet, and a bank of 6 wireless laptop computers.
Each Key Stage 1 class has 4 computers connected to the schools networked system with a class based printer. Each Key Stage 2 class has a minimum of two networked computers.
Other IT equipment in the School includes: roamers, scanners, digital cameras and digital microscopes.
IT is used as a means of supporting and developing learning in all curriculum areas. The children learn to use computers and software to communicate ideas and information. We also teach the children e-safety and how to use new technologies responsibly and safely.
